Martin Eriksson Ft. Clare Elise – Goodbye (Remixes)

”Goodbye (Remixes)”, the exciting collaboration between Martin Eriksson and Clare Elise, are finally here! Freshly remixed to say goodbye to 2014 and kick start 2015.

”The original mix of Goodbye is a big room track full of energy and a strong melody. Now the remixes are here with a new sound and they deliver exactly what I hoped for!” – says Martin Eriksson

Alban Berisha have kept some of the elements from the original and turned it into an hypnotic remix with a lot of low end power combined with massive big room synths.

Chris Alarcon have succeeded in turning this big room track into a very strong progressive tune with an amazing piano chord progression.

Dario Trapani delivers a killer remix that will work as every dj’s secret weapon during the night. This melody will get stuck in your head for sure.”

Jack Hodinson – Breathe

Need to take a breather from mr Hodinsons last track, ”Magnet” at 130 bpms?

This time he puts the needle to a spin at 126 bpm’s, naming his track ”Breathe”. With a darker, deeper feeling, this track is intended to be a bridge when you want to move from house to progressive.
Kinda like Julien Jabre’s ”Swimming Places”. It’s a long track but somehow it keeps its interrest all the way through. And that’s not an easy thing to do.
He also makes use of the formula of 66 percent.
The drop with the piano at this point just makes it start all over again with a bang but yet subtle. Impressive. Maybe he’s a friend of mr Eric Prydz?

Jack Hodinson himself says:
”The project of Breath began with the vocal and then I created the melody and the bass line. I wanted to create something different with my own touch and style so i decided to add a piano melody in the second part of the song to give her a sort of a new dimension.”

To refer his track as ”her” makes us wonder what his lady does att 66 percent 🙂
Maybe she need’s to take a breather too?

Viktoria Station – I’m In Heaven

When Paris and London meet Sweden there is a magnificent explosion.
A giant impact that echoes and resonates in the depth of our emotions.

“Viktoria Station – I’m In Heaven” is a voyage to a world of fantasy where the beats take you away to  an unexpected rendez-vous.

This powerful track is inhabited by multi-ingredients and various influences from all around the globe.
Probably what it looks like ”up there”

All together romanesque, cutting edge, sharp and intense,
the warm acoustics and dynamics are elegantly moving ahead in a conquering style,
heading to new horizons.

This rendez vous with Southside House Collective is the perfect match.

As we join our forces with Southside Recordings,
we are now ready to travel across skies and dance floors.
That’s what makes us feel alive – to see you all dance until the sun goes down and the moon rises.

Jack Hodinson – Magnet

As the tempo nowadays is a bit on the downslope with deephouse, we thought it could be interesting to go the other way around. We’ve signed a new artist, influenced by the trance-genre, making his track in a whopping 130 bpm’s

Jack Hodinson, 24 years of age, calls his track ”Magnet”. He’s says he’ s got his inspiration from the Marvel Comic ”X-men” first and most famous adversary, ”Magneto”. And yes – here at Southside Recordings, we can clearly hear it. There’s elements of a battle between both house and big trance. We emediatly thought of ”Three Drives On a Vinyl – Greece 2000”. A clever arp runs through the track, creating a glue and the typical dreamy feeling.

In the presentation from Jack Hodinson himself:

”My first EP called “Way Of Control EP” released on Phantom Recordings, received support from Myon & Shane 54, Antillas and it was played in Outwork Radio Show. Next was a track on Electric Fist Recordings followed by “Hotel Brooklyn”, released on Dbeatzion Records, supported by JL & Afterman.”

Lots of stuff going on with this guy. Let’s hope Jack Hodinson is our next Marvel.

Dario Trapani – Lose My Mind

Is this our new Godfather?

This time Southside Recordings visit Sicily, Italy to sign Dario Trapani.
Mr Trapani began his career back in 2002, specialising in progressive- and electro-house.
To date, his most important undertaking is the official remix of ”Beautiful” by Sophie Ellis Bextor, released on Universal Music.

It seems like most Italians from this special island is a bit of ”Mafioso’s”. He even fooled us. Dario has already released the track ”This Feeling” under the pseudonym Dual Dee here at Southside Recordings. But what da hell, there’s a good Swedish mafia too. We believe they have done some hits… 🙂

Now, on to the track.
“Lose My Mind” is a synergy between bigroom house, trancy pianos and super-saws. A typical, ”hollow” lead-song with lot’s of delay sets the tone of a track perfectly fit to compete with productions of Alesso, Dubvision and Sander van Doorn.

We proudly present ”Dario Trapani – Lose My Mind”
And please like it, otherwise we may find ourselves with a horse between the sheets 🙂

Martin Eriksson – Over (Remixes)

“Over” by Martin Eriksson is one of our most successful releases on Southside Recordings. “Over” received tremendous support from radio stations and djs around the world, including plays by Tiësto two weeks in a row on his “Club Life” podcast. Now it’s time for the remixes!

Martin Eriksson says: ”The support I got on ”Over” is unbelievable, it’s exciting and fun to see how a song can spread all across the world in such a fast pace. I got messages and comments with compliments on my song from new fans all over the world and I’m really happy and proud that people like what I do! Now the remixes are finally done and I’m very impressed of the remixers work, they complement the original in such a good way”.

Electrick Village gives the listener a high quality remix with an unbelievable bass-line in combination with a break full of emotions and mind-blowing melodies.
Danny Thorn puts his own touch on ”Over” with a funky bass-line and melodies that will turn heads wherever it will be played.
Martin Raay has created a monster with a hook that will make the dance-floor to a battlefield.

It’s a pleasure for us on Southside Recordings to release these awesome remixes!
