Electrick Village – Cairo

Electrick Village consists of two passionated musicians both coming from a small town in Denmark. Combining their two totally different minds the magic happens, this time the result is a song called Cairo!

“In the past, we’ve been working with various different people such as the danish pop-queen Nabiha, the human-doll Sada Vidoo and the amazing Swedish vocalist Niclas Lundin. Working with all kind of different people has definitely shaped us in a great way, and that’s the reason we are here today.” – Electrick Village

Electrick Village focus on creating their own unique sound and tries to “stand out from the crowd”, they have a lot of new and fresh sounds coming your way, so stay tuned, we at Southside Recordings are very excited to be working with these guys!

Electrick Village is taking a lot of inspiration from various genres such as Dubstep, D&B and Hip-Hop/R&B, they really like to bring different genres into their tracks and Cairo came to life when they both was on holiday in Cairo

”We were very thrilled with the nightlife and the people there were amazing. So after a night out we sat down with a few energy drinks and that’s how the ideas for Cairo came to life..” – Electrick Village

When writing this the office is shaking to the banging beat of Cairo.. We don’t need to say it, but we are super excited to be working with Electrick Village’s second release here on Southside Recordings.

Gramanalogue feat. Fabietto Jeffterry – She Drives Me Crazy EP

We are proud to present a new debuting duo on Southside Recordings, Gramanalogue feat. Fabietto Jeffterry.
The young producer originating from Spain, Gramanalogue. together with the more experienced Italian deep house producer Fabietto Jeffterry. describes their music as a touch of freedom and a way of expressing themselves in one voice. Fabietto grow up between the notes of urban music at the late 80’s, and this is something you definitely can hear flavours of in this funky collaboration EP.

Gramanalogue feat. Fabietto Jeffterry – She Drives Me Crazy, is a 5 track deep house EP that goes from deeply hypnotic and gives us some influences from the 70’s Old School sound. This is of course nicely merged together with the electronic world of Deep House anno 2015!

To get an insight the duo tells us that the explosive mixture of two worlds that often walk both parallel and intersecting perfectly, is their aim in both productions and performances. Thats something we at Southside Recordings can understand after listening to this monster EP on repeat.

Electrick Village consists of two passionated musicians both coming from a small town in Denmark. Combining their two totally different minds the magic happens, this time the result is a song called AIDA!

The track name “AIDA” is actually taken from the well-known marketing model “AIDA-model” which stands for attention, interest, desire and action.

“We felt like the track we’re made of the same building-blocks so it made great sense to us naming it AIDA.” – Electrick Village

Pol Ayke – Legend of Vedra

Pol Ayke, the man behind ”Love”, returns to Southside Recordings with a massive release!

This time with a track called Legend of Vedra,
Pol Ayke says: ”It’s an ode to the Ibiza Island, the energy and the atmosphere inspired me so much. Creating this song was an awesome pleasure and I want to share it with you”.

Pol Ayke is right and we couldn’t agree more, this track breathes Ibiza and house music and we love it!

Gaspar – Hold Me

Gaspar (we still don’t know what that means) is all about disco.
Their previous track ”Spooky” had lots of horns and that typical 70’ies feeling.

Hold Me is still disco, but this time they have implemented some analog classic synths.
”Sexbomb” by Tom Jones immediately comes to mind, but instead of his fat voice,
Gaspar uses a ”big, fat mama”. At least it sound like that 🙂

Southside House Collective Feat. Gramma Funk – Off The Wall

One does not simply team up with the legendary lady Gramma Funk. But the three Swedish DJ’s & producer guys in Southside House Collective, iTod, Junior & J.J, have proven their hit-producer talents lately, and their new single ‘Off the wall’ is just released, now with the vocals of Gramma.

The track is a funky, stompin’ track that refuses to be defined by the classic rules on EDM music. It’s breaking barriers, and leaping right into a new refreshing, laid back sexy, and addictive sound.

”I see you baby – Shakin’ Dat Ass” by Groove Armada & Gramma Funk, remember that? We sure do! And the remixes from Fatboy Slim? Oh lord! From that moment on, there was no ending in her success. Films, television, compilations and commercials – the song was all over the place! We’ve teamed up with one of our idols since the dawn of time, and we’re unbeilevible proud!!” Says the exited DJ collective.

Since the beginning of the three dance music masters collaboration back in 2008, they have been on the same stage as Axwell, Avicii, Martin Solveig, David Guetta, Felix Da Housecat, Fedde Le Grand, Swanky Tunes and many more, in both their home-country as well as in Spain, Denmark, Portugal and even Mozambique.

Having played on Nova Era Beach Party, Copenhagen Beach Party & Calpe Festival venues just to name a few, they’ve also got their fair share of radio-plays, in countries like Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain and Portugal, with songs and remixes like ”Can You Feel The Love”, ”Turn On The Radio”, ”Fired Up”, ”Six Feet Under”, ”Saxistic”, ”You And Me” and ”Tonight, Tonight, Tonight”. Their releases have got support by many big names like Roger Sanchez & David Guetta, and the new single doesn’t seem to let their new hype down.
