Gaspar – Spooky

Guitars, horns, sequins, plateau-boots and afro hair. That’s what it’s all about. And possibly Daft Punk, Cassius and Giorgo Moroder. Get the picture?
70’s disco!!!

Gaspar are 2 DJs/producers located in Thessaloniki, Greece – DJ Kid Stretch & 70th Floor. Southside Recordings has been trusted to sign Gaspar’s first release. The faith in our label is so great, that they have given us their ”best track”. And what a nice honour it is with this sparkling thumping sensation.

”We often team up with live gifted musicians to create our own music.
We are heavily influenced by the 70s. When we hear something good, and decide to make something of it, we build on it, add our own flavor to create the Gaspar sound. For Spooky, we found a killer sample, added our own elements and made it bounce! To us, Spooky is a killer track, we just love it!”

Hmm.. Sensation and love in the same presentation? And the 70’s in our mind? Southside Recordings is pretty damn sure even Loletta Holloway would have called Gaspar ”A Spooky Love Sensation”

Southside House Collective – Read My Disco

We’re not 20 anymore, at least not the three of us. Born in the glamourus disco-era that conqoured the world like an inferno, followed by the 80’s – the birth of house music, we all remember when the music was moore of a sexy, bootyliscious groove than just a heavy-metal-ish banging drop. As teenagers, out clubbing, we discovered Groove Armada, Todd Terry, Joey Negro, Kid Creme and all the other masters of, dare we say, real house music.

That’s why we made “Read My Disco”. We want people to start movin their hips, not just jump like bloody hell at the drop, or…sit down (?) on some arena.
Southside House Collective’s recepie is a jackin bassline, warm rhodes, lots of percussion, syncoped snares and a little surprise that many recognize but very few nails. And we won’t tell you.

As Gramma Funk says in one of our previous tracks – ”Honey the funk is in town! The dancefloor is where I go, to get my move on, to get my groove on. And when it is? I say God damn, that DJ play some wicked jams!!”
That goes for this track as well, just change ”funk” to ”disco”.
Or strutt your funky stuff to both.

Southside House Collective Feat. Gramma Funk – Off The Wall

One does not simply team up with the legendary lady Gramma Funk. But the three Swedish DJ’s & producer guys in Southside House Collective, iTod, Junior & J.J, have proven their hit-producer talents lately, and their new single ‘Off the wall’ is just released, now with the vocals of Gramma.

The track is a funky, stompin’ track that refuses to be defined by the classic rules on EDM music. It’s breaking barriers, and leaping right into a new refreshing, laid back sexy, and addictive sound.

”I see you baby – Shakin’ Dat Ass” by Groove Armada & Gramma Funk, remember that? We sure do! And the remixes from Fatboy Slim? Oh lord! From that moment on, there was no ending in her success. Films, television, compilations and commercials – the song was all over the place! We’ve teamed up with one of our idols since the dawn of time, and we’re unbeilevible proud!!” Says the exited DJ collective.

Since the beginning of the three dance music masters collaboration back in 2008, they have been on the same stage as Axwell, Avicii, Martin Solveig, David Guetta, Felix Da Housecat, Fedde Le Grand, Swanky Tunes and many more, in both their home-country as well as in Spain, Denmark, Portugal and even Mozambique.

Having played on Nova Era Beach Party, Copenhagen Beach Party & Calpe Festival venues just to name a few, they’ve also got their fair share of radio-plays, in countries like Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain and Portugal, with songs and remixes like ”Can You Feel The Love”, ”Turn On The Radio”, ”Fired Up”, ”Six Feet Under”, ”Saxistic”, ”You And Me” and ”Tonight, Tonight, Tonight”. Their releases have got support by many big names like Roger Sanchez & David Guetta, and the new single doesn’t seem to let their new hype down.

Andalo – Eat My (Southside House Collective Remix)

Behind the artist name Andalo we find established Stockholm based writer and producer Anders Nyman.
Anders got his first big commercial breakthrough in 2008 as one of the members of Guru Josh Project.
With the global smash hit single ‘Infinity 2008’ they went on to sell more than 3 million singles around the world and he kept himself busy as a DJ, live artist and a remixer.
With this brand new project on his own he hope to really develop in the studio and take his sound and style to new heights.
