Gaspar – Spooky

Guitars, horns, sequins, plateau-boots and afro hair. That’s what it’s all about. And possibly Daft Punk, Cassius and Giorgo Moroder. Get the picture?
70’s disco!!!

Gaspar are 2 DJs/producers located in Thessaloniki, Greece – DJ Kid Stretch & 70th Floor. Southside Recordings has been trusted to sign Gaspar’s first release. The faith in our label is so great, that they have given us their ”best track”. And what a nice honour it is with this sparkling thumping sensation.

”We often team up with live gifted musicians to create our own music.
We are heavily influenced by the 70s. When we hear something good, and decide to make something of it, we build on it, add our own flavor to create the Gaspar sound. For Spooky, we found a killer sample, added our own elements and made it bounce! To us, Spooky is a killer track, we just love it!”

Hmm.. Sensation and love in the same presentation? And the 70’s in our mind? Southside Recordings is pretty damn sure even Loletta Holloway would have called Gaspar ”A Spooky Love Sensation”

Martin Eriksson – Over (Remixes)

“Over” by Martin Eriksson is one of our most successful releases on Southside Recordings. “Over” received tremendous support from radio stations and djs around the world, including plays by Tiësto two weeks in a row on his “Club Life” podcast. Now it’s time for the remixes!

Martin Eriksson says: ”The support I got on ”Over” is unbelievable, it’s exciting and fun to see how a song can spread all across the world in such a fast pace. Electrick Village gives the listener a high quality remix with an unbelievable bass-line in combination with a break full of emotions and mind-blowing melodies.
Danny Thorn puts his own touch on ”Over” with a funky bass-line and melodies that will turn heads wherever it will be played.
Martin Raay has created a monster with a hook that will make the dance-floor to a battlefield.
