Justus Köhncke (Kompakt, Cologne)! – 14 Aug
Efter att Minilogue fick halva Malmö och hela kyrkan i gungning sist presenterar vi nu nästa stora artist på City To City, denna gång i form av Justus Köhncke (Kompakt, Cologne)!
Justus Köhncke har alltid haft en stor musikalisk aptit. Hans produktioner är ett finspelande elektroniskt fyrverkeri, med influenser från synth, electro, nu-disco & avant-garde pop fick Justus fick sitt stora genombrott 1996. Då med gruppen Whirlpool Pr…oductions vars hit “From: Disco To: Disco” spelades flitigt på alla världens klubbar & radio stationer.
Två år senare satsade Justus på solo karriär och idag är han en av det tyska skivbolaget Kompakt’s absolut största artister med b.l.a. tre album och 20-talet singlar bakom sig.
Alla som varit i Malmö & Köpenhamns svängen ett tag minns säkert låten “Timecode” från 2004, en dj’s våta dröm och ett sten säkert kort i soluppgången.
Vi är mycket stolta över att kunna presentera Justus Köhncke på City To City, det kommer bli en live spelning utöver det vanliga. Bakom skivspelarna finns även Malmö veteranerna och City To City’s egna resident DJ’s Jimi Disko & Stefan Gulito.
På house golvet serverar Southside House Collective rykande het house av det finaste slaget! Deras debut singel ”Six feet under” gick rakt in på div. topplistor och har för närvarande spelats flitigt på världens house klubbar & radio stationer. Efter framgången har dom gjort remixer med b.l.a. Stonebridge och Darwin & Backwall, samt även med medlemmar från klassiska Guru Josh Project!
